Hi, my name is Junqing Qian, also go by Jen, a 5th year Ph.D. candidate in the Math department at University of Connecticut, expecting to graduate in May 2020. My advisor is Professor Damin Wu. My research interest is geometry in general, specially differential geometry, complex function theory and covering spaces.

During my Ph.D. program at Uconn, I received a Master’s degree in math in May 2015. Before I came to Uconn, I graduated from University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) with a B.S. in math from the School of Gifted Young in July 2014.

Before college, I was professionally trained to become a pianist from a young age until the start of high school. That was a very interesting experience which I am proud of.

Here is my CV. (last edited Mar. 2019.)
